There are practically more street style photographers than actual guests.
Went to the Sophomore party and what i managed to remember from the night was that we were sitting on the booth next to Mary Kate Olsen, while my friend was almost physically fighting with the bathroom attendant. Classy.
Sat outside the Dior show to watch the action (i know, not super glamorous, but incredibly enlightening, not to mention marvelously entertaining). Most important thing i got out of that experience: there are a lot of fucking posers out there. Had drinks with Taylor Tomasi that night (sorry for the name drop). She's amazing.
Went to Chanel, only to be told 10 minutes before the show started that our connection was no longer able to get us in on account of too much chaos. I almost cried.
Lauren Santo Domingo is stunningly beautiful in person. I never thought so in photographs. She's also insanely tall and skinny.
Shows at night have a much cooler vibe. Especially when they give out champagne and hors-d'oeuvres.
Realized that taxis are a rare commodity and to truly relish coming across one.
Naomi Campbell is the most amazing model i've ever seen walk down a runway. Girlfriend owns it! No wonder she's a diva.
Getting reservations at a restaurant is just as hard as obtaining the queen's autograph.
Don't expect to get much sleep during fashion week/month.

love your fashion week recap! so cool that you saw MK and so sad that you didnt make Chanel :( but at least you made other great shows and got the vibe of the stellar week.
I agree though, i work at LOULOU magazine and my friend, the ass, fashion editor went to NY fashion week and it was soo not glamourous, just total chaos and running around and praying for a taxi and to make it out of the show before getting stampeded. lol.
love the vintage fur, the red jacket, and the necklace!!!! gorgeous.
xx
Hello fellow montrealer :)
Beautiful outfits ! The first one is my fave. Where do you work ?
i love the 1st outfit, helene; wonderful palette that is understated and not too serious, and each piece seems so luxurious.
great outfits! I love the Bottega bag and that vintage fur is absolutely divine!
