Tall, blond, born rich, married to a [hot] exotic billionaire, incredibly leggy, sick wardrobe, editor for one of the most well respected fashion bibles... Lauren Santo Domingo has quite a few enviable attributes to her name, however the one that renders me most jealous has got to be the fact that she posed for Sassy.

My dear and loyal readers, thank you for your patience, for i've been busy getting myself a bachelor's degree. Now that i'm officially through, i can get back to blogging and resume my regular priorities, such as choosing fashion over reason.

Guys, i'll be back soon, promise.
Once in a while, an editorial will come around and it will just blow you away. It will become instilled in your mind as one of the most outstanding spreads you've seen and you'll store it in your memory as a bar you'll hold up all other editorials to. This is precisely what happened with a particular series shot by Mario Testino that appeared in British Vogue back in 08, featuring Daria and Lily in the Himalayas (or something looking quite like it). I was so pleased to see the images on Fashion Gone Rogue today, and it left me breathless - again.

Such simplicity, such ease, such elegance, and such cool composure. I mean, you can't fake this stuff.

[tfs]
Although this may not be an extremely exciting outfit, i do deem it important to post getups that don't look like it was dress up time. After all, it it real life we live in. At times, comfort and ease need to prevail... just as long as it's done in a tasteful manner. Wink!

I'm really hoping for a road trip this summer. This photo is giving me a serious urge to scratch that itch.

She's one of the most arresting women i have ever seen. She is the very essence of the french je ne sais quoi. No wonder she scored Johnny Depp.

Ok so not gonna lie, i have a major girl crush on Alexa Chung and this for many a reasons. Firstly, her bod is simply bangin'. All my close girlfriends will attest to the fact that i like very lithe body types. Makes her look fantastic in pretty much anything she wears. Speaking of what she wears, her style is just flawless: it's the perfect mix of tomboy and girlie, that perfect balance that i myself am drawn to in my personal style. She's also cute. She's not gorgeous, she's cute and magnetic. And i don't know if you've ever seen her in interviews, but she's hilarious. So to me that's the total package, anything else is extra. I kid, i kid, brains count too, kids.
Decked out in Chanel, hell yeah!

Believe it or not, i found this in my own archives. When Chloë Sevigny was an intern back in 1992 at Sassy magazine (a staple for the generation), her boss followed her around and took photos of her crazy outfits because, heck, she was just born cool.

Gemma Ward was my favorite model circa 2007. I miss her terribly. I always thought she looked like a cute little koala bear. I suppose it's fitting since she's from the land down under!

I'm so inspired by ballerinas. I'm also inspired by Natalia. Sometimes really amazing things happen when two worlds collide.

It's hard to think that she is just a regular gal, blogging away! It's really easy to make things look good when you look like this, but Natalie looks especially arresting in these two simple yet oh so chic looks. Both of those trousers fit flawlessly.

Who could argue with that?

Raquel is one of those girls who radiates natural beauty and who transforms with brio into the characters she is asked to take on for every shoot. It is her who made me utterly sold to David Sims (he's in my top three) - their pairings were quite frequent a few years ago and resulted is some of the most amazing photos i've ever laid eyes on. This candid encapsulate her spirit, almost like we're barging in on an intimate moment.

Stephanie's amazing lust-worthy, highly covetable aubergine ysl besace bag. Her taste is impeccable.

I've become quite obsessed with the new direction Céline has taken under the reign of Phoebe. The new aesthetic is in complete symbiosis with my taste. I suppose i was subconsciously inspired by the SS10 collection because looking at this outfit, i can't help but seeing a Céline reference. I acquired this beige leather skirt at a clothing swap years ago and it's just been sitting in my closet for so long without ever having been worn. It was too big and i never got around to getting it tailored until a few weeks ago. Now it fits like a glove and i just want to wear it every day! Also, there's nothing sexier than sheer black nylons.

What a beauty this girl is. For those of you who are not familiar, she is Julia, daughter of the french queen of fashion, Carine. And she looks here like a 60's movie star. All the elements are there to convey her grace and her alluring looks: her long brown hair imperfectly parted in the middle, her plump cheeks covered in adorable little freckles, her flawlessly defined thick eyebrows and her piercing light green eyes, lending her gaze the softest stare. She's simply exquisite in these captivating images. I don't remember where i found them, but i do recall seeing them in i-D magazine last year and they needed to be revisited.

This is one captivating sequence involving two of my favorite models.

These two really know what time it is.

Phoebe Philo is revolutionizing fashion. She is singlehandedly rethinking the whole style-meets-utility concept, making waves the world-over with her flawless re-haul of quintessential french line Céline. Never have i witnessed this kind of hype over a creative director taking over the DNA of an old brand. Phoebe seems to be holding the long end of the stick with her ability to make garments that resonate on a very deep level with women everywhere.

I've mentioned before that i'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. Now THESE are what i call t-shirts. I feel the comfort just by looking at them.
