Fashion Over Reason: When Phillip met Bianca

When Phillip met Bianca

As per usual, Phillip Lim sent my heart aflutter. His Bianca Jagger-inspired resort collection was so chic, glamorous and effortless, not to mention right on trend with the 70's revival that's been subtly infused into every spring and fall collection. He never disappoints me and has been at the top of my list since he first burst onto the scene - i'm always excited to see what he's come up with season after season. And i love that he chose Kim Noorda.

So the 70s are coming back - I thought I was the only one taken notice of that. Hehe! I'd like to mix a bit of the 70s (florals & colors) with 80s (shoulders) and 90s (just grunge from here please) - but maybe that all would jsut be too much.

kim! i went through a huge kim phase a while back on tns.
she's awesome.
i love his knits and the shirt dress in the middle right.
i'm answering comments today to expect a couple, lol.

when it comes the the zara dress, the cut is pretty bad. i had to get a small and belt it to make it look good (i usually buy med. at zara). that belt is such a favourite thrifted finds and the t-bars i bought b/c i had the worst blisters one day 3 or 4 years ago and i needed different shoes, they ended up becoming favs. of mine.
