Birthday Weekend Part II

Yesterday was a post about the night before and today is a post about the night of: i felt casual and unfussy and just wanted to be at ease while mingling, so naturally, i reached for a classic skinny jean, which i paired with just a loose tee and an oversized linen blazer. Red, of course-- we wouldn't want anyone to mistake whose birthday it was! Had an amazing time with friends (below is featured my one and only chinese doll, Lisa) and my baby brother (who is not such at baby anymore at almost 26 :p): had some cocktails at our place first and then sauntered over to one of our favorite neighborhood haunts for a lively and delicious dinner. Perfect night in my books.

As for beauty, i had just gotten my color did so it was in its prime blondness! And although i prefer natural makeup, i decided to jazz it up with a subtle yet punchy cat eye -- using my favorite: YSL Effet Faux-Cils Cream Eyeliner (i'm obsessed).
