Proportion Play
I always enjoy playing with proportions and this look is a prime example of that. The lengths of the dress -- which is meant to go all the way down to the ankles, but i hiked it up for it to hit just below the knee -- and the oversized blazer are not something my usual instincts would have had me pair together. I normally would have matched the latter with a very, very mini skirt but i felt like switching it up. Another thing to note: most of the time the complimentary colors green and red are never to be put together (unless you're decorating for christmas), but when the hues are more akin to khaki and brick, by all means, go for it!
