Moving right along... If you're among my instagram followers (as you should be), you must have seen that i took a little field trip to the Bally of Switzerland headquarters last week. I was invited to tour the showroom to preview some of their beautiful, luxurious fall pieces. It certainly did not disappoint -- the Swiss brand is masterful in crafting understated, refined leather goods and a true lesson in elegance. I spotted so many items that would fit in seamlessly with my downtown wardrobe, which brings me to the following conclusion: Bally is one of those labels that immaculately crosses the very divisive line drawn between two extremely different worlds-- the ladies who lunch uptown and young art galleristas and free spirits gallivanting the more urban city parts.

I fell head over heels for their Duffy bag (right below): the petite square, simple shape feels ideally fresh. What i love about it most is that it feels both classic and current -- the perfect marriage, in my humble opinion. And that leather is completely irreproachable. I meannnn.
Some other of my favorite accessories for fall/winter 2013-2014:
Completely obsessed with this men's backpack weekender called the Everest Elison (first below)

I made away with one of the following ponchos -- can you guess which one i went for?? Orange or cream?

You can see the entire fall/winter 13-14 collection right here. Do you guys have any favorites??
And last but not least, a HUGE thanks to Bally for having me!

What a coat, what a collar!! I'd lean more to the cream poncho (heh) since I'm scared of colour but you look too good in both! Should have picked them both up! And I'm thinking of switching my musician husband dream for a food industry husband one because sampling food at a food show sounds like heaven!!
